ENS Alumni Club:
Many of you have asked us how it is possible to contribute to the ENS Alumni without being a “normalien” from Paris-Saclay or Rennes (a status that requires you to have been admitted to the “normalien” cycle by competitive examination or application, and within the historical perimeter of our association). This question therefore concerns:
- Students admitted to specific courses hosted by ENS Paris-Saclay (the MVA Master's degree, for example) outside the normal curriculum;
- Students and alumni of other ENSs, in Paris and Lyon, or of a former ENS that has now disappeared;
- Professors actively teaching in a teaching and research department of an ENS;
- And more generally, any person satisfying the criteria of paragraph 1. 2. of article 3 of our statutes, or to broader rules defined within the framework of the activity of an ENS Alumni group and validated by the general meeting of the association, in accordance with the provisions set out in the internal rules.
To meet your expectations and offer a “member” rate to all ENS Paris-Saclay students, we are launching the ENS Alumni Club at the beginning of this year:
- By joining the Club, you will have access to all our events at the same rate as our member members: afterworks, themed meetings, conferences, etc.;
The cost of registration is identical to that of our regular members, but does not give access to the resources that the association shares with ENS Paris-Saclay;
ENS Alumni reserves the right to reserve certain events for members and/or members of the ENS Alumni Club;
Each member of the ENS Alumni Club may invite a maximum of two people at the “non-member” rate to our events.
