Morgane Vacher, alumni of the Chemistry department, class of 2008, received the CNRS bronze medal in 2024.

After a brilliant journey in Analytical, Physical, and Theoretical Chemistry at ENS Paris-Saclay (formerly Cachan), Morgane defended her PhD in Theoretical and Computational Chemistry at Imperial College London in 2016, then pursued an exciting post-doctorate at Uppsala University in Sweden until 2019.

Today, she shines as a CNRS researcher in the ModES team at the CEISAM laboratory. Recipient of an ERC Starting Grant in 2022, she already has 48 international publications and 6 book chapters to her name.

Her award recognizes her exceptional contributions to theoretical chemistry, particularly in photochemistry.

Congratulations, Morgane!
