ENS Paris-Saclay, Nursery of Academic Excellence

ENS Paris-Saclay is the leading institution for training in higher education and research professions at the University of Paris-Saclay. In the tradition of excellence of the grandes écoles, it provides a highly advanced scientific and cultural education.

As a nursery of academic excellence, its uniqueness lies in bringing together disciplines that no other higher education institution combines in this manner and at this level: fundamental sciences, engineering sciences, and humanities and social sciences.

Within its 11 teaching and research departments, it individually mentors 1,500 normaliens until they obtain the diploma from ENS Paris-Saclay. Its 12 laboratories host 300 doctoral candidates.

In close collaboration with various industrial sectors (aerospace, energy, automotive, computer science, health, etc.), the School conducts numerous high-level research programs.
